What We Collect
PathSpace does not collect or store your personal information or conversation history on its servers. Conversations happen in real time and are not saved, logged, or shared with third parties.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use the app.
Optional File Attachments
PathSpace lets you optionally attach a resume, transcript, or notes to a message for extra context. That file is read directly in your browser and sent along with your question to generate a response. It is not stored on our servers, and attaching a file is never required to use PathSpace.
How the AI Works
PathSpace uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses. Your messages are sent to Anthropic's servers to produce a reply and are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.
Crisis Keyword Detection
For safety purposes, PathSpace checks your messages in your browser for certain high-risk phrases related to self-harm or crisis. If a match is found, PathSpace shows you crisis resources directly in the app. This check happens on your device and is not logged to our servers.
What You Should Not Share
Please do not share the following in the chat:
- Your full name
- Your home address or location
- Your school ID number
- Any other information that could personally identify you
The chat is a space to talk about your future, not to share personal details.
Age Requirement
PathSpace is intended for users 13 years of age and older. If you are under 13, please do not use this app. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 has used PathSpace, please contact us at the email below.
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time as PathSpace evolves. Please check back periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
